If using a built-in GPS system in your new Toyota is not be your favorite way to get from one point to another, you may be quite envious to discover that Japan will be receiving a special new option from the innovative Japanese automaker. Toyota has announced it is partnering with technology giant Nintendo to turn the standard Nintendo DS into a navigational remote control that allows drivers to obtain sightseeing information, map out driving routes, and navigate to destinations.

We were sad to see Toyota say goodbye to the World Rally Championship (WRC) a few years ago, but now we're excited the Japanese automaker has plans return to the race. It even has plans to bring  the lightweight Toyota Yaris along for the ride.

Toyota is one of the most creative automakers in the world, but it has plans to begin building vehicles that are even more unique. The company recently announced it has created a new vehicle development framework which requires more creativity but will save up to 30 percent of design funds due to the larger usage of shared parts.

The Toyota Camry has seen its share of success over the years. The Camry has been the automaker's best-selling model since 1987, and a few years later, became the U.S.' most popular line of passenger cars. Overall, it makes up about 45 percent of Toyota sales every year. So, when the Camry came up for a redesign this year, some were surprised. After all, why would Toyota try to improve a winning formula?  But, the company did, and it succeeded greatly. The redesigned 2012 Toyota Camry is now better than ever.

As far as electric and hybrid cars go, the Nissan Leaf and the Chevrolet Volt might be leading the pack, but both of these vehicle's sales have nothing on the new Toyota Prius c hybrid, which is swopping in and quickly racking up sales. In a recent press release, Toyota states, "In its first three days on the market, it sold 1,201 units, making it one Toyota's fastest-selling vehicles and eclipsing Chevrolet Volt and Nissan LEAF sales for the entire month of February."¹

When some people hear the word "Toyota," they automatically think "hybrid." After all, the Toyota Prius has been breaking boundaries for over 15 years now. Most of our readers know that Japanese automaker Toyota faced several tragic natural disasters last year and that these disasters hurt the brand's ability to produce a large number of vehicles.
