Traffic Disruptions

Street Closures Around Toyota Center

Please be aware there are several areas experiencing construction between Toyota Center and the George R. Brown Convention Center. Please pay attention to street closures and allow additional time as you make your way to Toyota Center events. We look forward to seeing you!

  • Polk Street is now closed to all traffic between Chartres Street and Avenida de las Americas
    • Around November 28, the sidewalk along this section of Polk Street will reopen for pedestrian and bicycle traffic
  • On or around Nov. 14-17 and Nov. 21-24, TxDOT will close the I-59 southbound ramps to I-45 to help facilitate demolition of the GRB South Ramp
    • Motorists accessing Downtown destinations from northbound I-59 are encouraged to exit at West Gray and take Pease Street or St. Joseph Pkwy into Downtown
    • Motorists traveling into Downtown from EaDo/East End are encouraged to take Pease Street or St. Joseph Pkwy

Parking

Toyota Tundra Garage - Located on the South side of Toyota Center

Toyota Center features a dedicated 2,500-space, seven-story parking garage for Rockets games, concerts, and events. The garage is cashless and offers a private sky bridge entrance for premium guests. Details concerning accessible parking, as well as many other topics for those with special needs, can be found in our Accessibility Guide.

Houston Rockets Games

Garage parking is not available for non-passholders on Houston Rockets game days. 

  • Green Pass – Level 1:
    • Entrance is on Jackson Street, between Bell Street and Leeland Street.
    • For GPS purposes, please use 1515 Jackson Street for the Green Pass entrance.
  • White Pass – Level 2:
    • Entrance is on Leeland Street, between Jackson Street and La Branch Street. 
    • For GPS purposes, please use 1515 Leeland Street for the White Pass entrance.
  • Red Pass – Level 3:
    • Entrance is on Leeland Street, between Jackson Street and La Branch Street.
    • For GPS purposes, please use 1515 Leeland Street for the Red Pass entrance.
  • Yellow Pass – Levels 4-7:
    • Entrance is on La Branch Street, between Bell Street and Jackson Street.
    • For GPS purposes, please use 1500 La Branch Street for the Yellow Pass entrance.

Concerts & Events

We highly recommend reserving your Toyota Tundra Garage parking in advance.

  • Guests can purchase parking through the ticket purchase flow before checking out.
  • Purchase parking by using the parking link in your Know Before You Go email.

Surface Parking Lots

There are plenty of surface lots near Toyota Center, as well as street parking.

Traveling US-59 N

Toyota Center

  • Exit Gray Ave / Pierce Ave and proceed north to Gray Street
  • Gray Street west to San Jacinto Street north
  • San Jacinto Street north to Leeland Street east
  • Leeland Street east to Tundra Parking Garage or surface lot parking

Traveling US-59 S

Toyota Center

  • Exit Jackson St and proceed south to Congress Street 
  • Congress Street west to Fannin Street 
  • Fannin Street south to Leeland Street
  • Leeland Street east to Tundra Parking Garage or surface lot parking

Traveling I-45 N

Toyota Center

  • Exit Houston Ave / Memorial Dr and proceed north to Memorial Dr
  • Memorial Drive east onto Rusk Street
  • Rusk Street east to Fannin Street
  • Fannin Street south to Leeland Street
  • Leeland Street east to Tundra Parking Garage or surface lot parking

Traveling I-45 S

Toyota Center

  • Exit McKinney St and proceed east to Fannin Street
  • Fannin Street south to Leeland Street
  • Leeland Street east to Tundra Parking Garage or surface lot parking

Traveling I-10 E

Toyota Center

  • Exit I-45 S Galveston
  • Exit McKinney St and proceed east to Fannin Street
  • Fannin Street south to Leeland Street
  • Leeland Street east to Tundra Parking Garage or surface lot parking

Traveling I-10 W

Toyota Center

  • Exit US-59 S Downtown
  • Exit Hamilton St and proceed south to Congress Street 
  • Congress Street west to Fannin Street 
  • Fannin Street south to Leeland Street
  • Leeland Street east to Tundra Parking Garage or surface lot parking
