Access Privileges

Toyota Center meets or exceeds all public facility structural and service requirements as set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  • Assisted Listening Devices: Available for hearing impaired guests at any Guest Relations location. Identification will be required to check out the device.
  • Accessible Drop Off: LaBranch Street south of Polk St at the Arena curbside and on Bell Street underneath the Skybridge at the South of end of the Arena.
  • Accessible Parking: Toyota Tundra Parking Garage is adjacent to the Arena on Bell Street. Accessible parking in the garage varies per event. Accessible parking may also be available in the surrounding independent parking lots.
  • Captioning: Real-time captioning will only be provided when requested. To make arrangements for closed-captioning, please contact a guest services representative at least 48 hours in advance of attending an event at Toyota Center by calling 713-758-7230.

Alcohol Beverage Policy

No alcohol may be brought into Toyota Center. Alcoholic beverages may be purchased inside the arena. All persons must be age 21 or older and provide legal identification to purchase alcoholic beverages. Alcohol purchases are limited to two (2) beverages per buyer for most events. Management has the right to refuse service at any time. Alcohol sales can be terminated at any time at the discretion of Toyota Center management. Typically, no alcoholic beverages will be sold after:

  • Rockets- Start of the 4th quarter
  • Concerts - Varies per event
  • Red & White Wine Bistro presented by Sterling Vineyards - Last call will be made 45 minutes following the conclusion of the event; restaurant will remain open for another 15 minutes (varies by event)
  • East & West Frost Club Seats - Last call will be made 45 minutes following the conclusion of the event; while the club will remain open for another 15 minutes (varies by event)

Animals

Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited with the exception of service animals for guests with disabilities.

Announcements

To place requests for in-game announcements during Houston Rockets games regarding birthdays, anniversaries, proposals etc. please email guestservices@rocketball.com. Your request will be forwarded to the appropriate persons.

Axs Mobile ID

Axs Mobile ID is the exclusive electronic ticketing system of the Houston Rockets and Toyota Center. Axs Mobile ID serves as a trusted method of ticket delivery, offering guests convenient options of transferring tickets to another guest, or shopping the marketplace for access to sold-out games and third-party events. To enter the building using Axs Mobile ID, guests simply can use the Houston Rockets mobile app or AXS Ticketing app. A Guest Services Representative will scan your barcode from the app to enter. Guests will receive a seat locator to identify seats.  For more information about Axs Mobile ID please call 713-758-7200.

B

Baby Changing Facilities

Baby change facilities are located in all public restrooms. In addition, family service rooms are located throughout the arena on the Main and Upper Concourses.

Bags

Toyota Center encourages fans to travel light and not bring bags. Bags that are 5.5” x 8.5” or smaller will be screened through an expedited visual process. Bags that are larger than 5.5” x 8.5” but smaller than 14”x14” x 6” will be scanned through additional screening process and/or x-ray machines that will likely require a longer wait. Medical bags and parenting bags are permitted and are the only bags larger than 14” x 14” x 6” that will be allowed. Toyota Center does not allow any backpacks inside the building or any bags that are shaped like a backpack. This policy is subject to change at any time. 


If you choose to bring a bag that will not allowed inside the arena, there will be lockers on site for you to rent. Binbox lockers are located between the La Branch Street entrance and Team Shop. Pricing starts at $15.00 per checked bag which is non-refundable. Debit/credit and mobile payment, such as Apple or Google Pay, are acceptable forms of payment. No cash will be accepted. Toyota Center has a “No Re-Entry” policy for all events and bags will not be accessible during the event. Bag check opens the same time as arena doors for each event and closes 60 minutes post-event. Bags remaining after bag check closes will be returned to Lost & Found. Guests inquiring about Lost & Found items post-event should contact Toyota Center Guest Relations at 713-758-7230 or guestservices@rocketball.com . Toyota Center assumes no responsibility for lost items at any event. 

Banners, Signs & Flags

Banners, signs and flags are allowed in the Toyota Center, but may not be any larger that 11" x 17". Banners, signs and flags may not be displayed during play due to sight restrictions. Banners, signs and flags may not be hung or fastened anywhere in the arena. Poles to display banners or flags are prohibited. Banners, signs and flags must not be commercial in nature or obscene, or cause any disturbance with other fans. Toyota Center reserves the right to remove any banner, sign or flag without exception.

Box Office

The Box Office is located in the northwest corner of the arena off La Branch Street. Inside sales windows are accessible during events and are located across from Section 111. The Box Office contains 12 outside windows and 8 inside windows.

Cameras, Video Cameras, Audio Recorders

Professional cameras are prohibited at all events in Toyota Center unless accompanied by an appropriate media credential. Cameras containing lenses (not to exceed 4 inches in length) with no flashes may be allowed for some events. Video cameras and audio recorders are prohibited in Toyota Center unless specifically approved. Please check in advance by calling 713-758-7200.

Cashless Building

All point of sales at Toyota Center are now cashless. Guests should prepare to use a credit card or contactless payment option when attending an event inside the arena. Please note:

  • Cash can be exchanged for Virtual Currency at the Box Office and it is accessible through the Rockets App. 
  • Virtual Currency can only be used for Concessions. 
  • Virtual Currency is nonrefundable, but it does not expire.

Children - Lost

Lost children/parents should be escorted to the nearest Guest Relations Booth to notify arena security. Arena security will arrange search procedures. Toyota Center Guest Relations also offers a child identification program to help reunite lost children with their parent/guardian. (See “Tag-A-Kid”)

Children - Tickets

Children less than 36" tall generally do not need a ticket to enter the arena, provided the child sits on the lap of an adult. However, some events will have a different policy regarding children’s need for a ticket for entry. Please check in advance by calling 713-758-7200.

Club Seats Presented by Frost Bank

Limited to 2,900 seats between the basketball baselines, club seats take you up close to the action while maintaining your comfort with extra-wide seat space and ample legroom. Houston Rockets club seat holders enjoy VIP parking in the Toyota Tundra Garage, private sky bridge entrance into Toyota Center, opportunities for pre-sales to premium Toyota Center concerts and family shows and priority for suite rentals for special Toyota Center concerts, family shows or Rockets games. Additionally, club seat holders receive access to Frost East Club and Frost West Club, access to the Red and White Wine Bistro, unparalleled customer service, unbeatable hospitality and exclusive food and beverage options. Information regarding the purchase of Club Seats is available at Ticket Services booth located near main escalator. Club Seats are located on the main concourse at Sections 105-109 and Sections 118-122.

Community Relations

The Clutch City Foundation is the organization encompassing all Rockets community initiatives. Its mission is to make a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate-especially children. Foundation efforts are focused on three primary areas: Education, Grassroots Basketball, and Grassroots Outreach.

Corona Beach House Bar & Patio

Located at the North end of the Main Concourse behind Section 113, the Corona Beach House is open to all arena guests and features a full bar, featuring Corona & Modelo, and is the perfect place to find your beach at the Toyota Center!

Children's Memorial Hermann Sky Court

Interactive sports-themed space located at the North end of the Upper Concourse includes a replica of Center Court, vertical jumps, replica player lockers, interactive kiosks as well as many other games. The Children's Memorial Hermann Sky Court is open for all Rockets games.

The Children's Memorial Hermann Sky Court is complete with a party room great for birthday parties. If interested in booking a birthday party during a Rockets Home game call 713-627-DUNK

Designated Driver Program

Toyota Center, Levy Restaurants and Anheuser-Busch have combined to offer guests the opportunity to sign up as a Designated Driver during events at Toyota Center. Please see any Guest Relations Booth to register for this program.

Dress Code

All guests in attendance are required to wear a shirt and shoes at all times for their own safety. Toyota Center management reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying offensive text and/or images.  For questions, please call 713-758-7230.

Emergencies & Evacuations

Toyota Center is committed to providing the highest standard of safety for our visitors and employees. Emergency response procedures have been developed to address an emergency or crisis that might arise at Toyota Center or surrounding areas that may affect the arena operation.

Emergency Event Phone Number

In the event of an emergency, a message may be delivered to arena guests by calling 713-758-7200. As there are no procedures for paging guests, so please have seating information available when you call.

Escalators

Escalators are available to provide easy access to all levels. Escalators located across from Section 110, near the LaBranch Entrance, provide access to the Upper Concourse for general public use. Escalators located in the Frost East & West Clubs provide restricted access to the Lower and Upper Suites.

Family Restrooms

For guests with children, family restrooms are located next to all public restrooms throughout the arena on the Main and Upper Concourses.

First Aid

Certified EMS services are available at all arena events. First Aid stations are located across from Section 123 on the Main Concourse and across from Section 433 on the Upper Concourse. Please contact any Toyota Center team member if you need assistance.

Gates Open

  • Rockets games
    • Weekday Games (Monday - Friday) Door Times will be 1 hour before tip-off
    • Weekend Games (Saturday - Sunday) Door Times will be 1.5 hours before tip-off
  • The Red & White Wine Bistro will be open for Reservations via the Sky Bridge only 1.5 hours before tip-off for all games.
  • All other events - Gates open 60 minutes before the event unless otherwise explicitly noted

Guest Code of Conduct

Toyota Center is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable sports & entertainment experience.  Toyota Center guests have a right to expect an environment where:

  • Players respect and appreciate each and every guest
  • ​Guests will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all arena and team personnel.
  • Guests will enjoy the entertainment experience free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
  • Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner.  Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated, or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and show their tickets when requested.
  • Guests who engage in fighting, throwing objects or attempting to enter the court, stage, etc. will be immediately ejected from the arena and subject to arrest.
  • Guests will smoke in designated smoking areas only.
  • There will not be any obscene or indecent messages or signs on clothing.
  • Guests will comply with requests from arena staff regarding arena operations and emergency procedures.
  • Guests will also be responsible for their own good time by reporting inappropriate behavior.

The arena staff has been trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure that the above expectations are met, and guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest usher, security guard, or guest services staff member.  Guests who choose not to adhere to these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund, and revocation of season tickets and may also be in violation of city ordinances resulting in possible arrest and prosecution.

Jack Daniels Bar

Located on the Event Level behind the Rockets Bench underneath Section 116 this exclusive club is available to all premium floor seat guests.

KultureCity Partnership

Toyota Center has partnered with KultureCity to make all of the programs and events that the arena hosts sensory inclusive. This initiative promotes an accommodating and positive experience for all guests and fans with a sensory issue that visits Toyota Center.

Sensory bags, equipped with noise canceling headphones (provided by Puro Sound Labs), fidget tools, verbal cue cards (produced in conjunction with Boardmaker) and weighted lap pads are available to all guests at Toyota Center who may feel overwhelmed by the environment.

Prior to attending an event, families can download the free KultureCity App where one can view what sensory features are available and where they can access them. Also, on the App is the Social Story which will provide a preview of what to expect while enjoying an event at Toyota Center.

Lexus Lounge

An exclusive club tucked underneath the West lower bowl on the event level, the innovative Lexus Lounge and 14 Courtside Suites offer a unique combination of exclusive entertainment and hospitality space.

Lost & Found

If you lose an item during an event, please contact Toyota Center Guest Relations for assistance. Found items can be turned in to any Guest Relations Booth. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity after 30 days. For assistance on non-event days, please contact the Guest Relations Department at 713-758-7230.

Lost/Stolen Tickets

For lost tickets, guests must contact their point of purchase. For stolen tickets, guests should contact local law enforcement first, then their point of purchase.

Houston Clean Initiative

Houston Clean (www.HoustonClean.com) unifies the individual efforts of businesses to present consistent operating guidelines to visitors. These guidelines serve as a baseline commitment to practice recommended health safety protocols in alignment with orders issued by federal, state and local officials, as well as the Center for Disease Control (CDC).  

 

Houston’s hospitality, sports, entertainment, and transportation industries are committed to health and safety. Major venues and events are working in a collaborative and unified fashion to restore the community's confidence in safely attending and working events.

Merchandise

The team shop is located on the Main Concourse across from Section 113. Merchandise may also be purchased across from Section 126 and various portable locations. Suite and Club Seat holders may purchase merchandise from the stands located in the club lounges and at the sky bridge merchandise stand. The Rockets Team Shop is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11am-5pm but is closed to the general public on all event days. Shop online 24/7/365 at RocketsShop.com

National Anthem

To inquire about singing the National Anthem at a Houston Rockets game, please email GuestServices@rocketball.com. Your request will be forwarded to the appropriate persons.

Toyota Center is operated by Clutch City Sports & Entertainment.

Outside Vending

The selling or sampling of merchandise, food, beverages, tickets or other items on the property without written Toyota Center authorization is strictly prohibited.

Outside Food & Beverage

Guests are not permitted to bring any food or beverages into Toyota Center. Containers such as bottles, cans, thermos bottles, or plastic coolers are not permitted for the safety and protection of our guests.

Magnetometers At All Events

In a continuing effort to improve the fan experience and provide a safer environment for all guests, walk-through magnetometers have been installed at all Toyota Center entrances. We ask that all fans keep this in mind when making plans for arrival time at Toyota Center. Fans will need to place their cell phones, cameras, and keys on a security table prior to walking through the metal detector, but will not need to remove their shoes, belts, coins, watches or jewelry, as required at airports.  To help expedite the process, fans are advised to only bring items they will absolutely need for the event and plan travel and arrival times accordingly.

Parking

A 2,500 space parking garage is located adjacent to Toyota Center for Suite and Club Seat holders with parking passes for Rockets games. Parking passes can be purchased for concerts through the box office. Approximately 10,000 parking spaces are located within a few blocks, providing easy access to Toyota Center. The Tundra Garage opens for event parking 1.5 hours before each event's scheduled door time.

Private Events at Toyota Center

Toyota Center has several spacious banquet rooms available for private events. Please call 713-758-7215 or email eventbooking@rocketball.com for information regarding rental arrangements.

Prohibited Items

For safety reasons, patrons may be refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items including, but not limited to: alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, food, drinks, glass/plastic/metal containers, video recorders, audio recorders, laptops, fireworks, laser pointers, backpacks, coolers, knives, weapons of any type, baby seats or carriers, unauthorized noise makers, glitter, confetti, streamers, helium balloons, basketballs, beach balls, parcels or packages, inflatables, personal motorized transporters (SkyWalkers), selfie sticks, GoPros, or large bags of any kind.

In case of an emergency, patrons may visit the Guest Relations booths to make a phone call.

Toyota Center is conveniently located near Metro routes that provide easy access to events. More information can be found by calling the Houston Metro at 713-635-4000 or by visitng the Public Transportation page.

Re-Entry

Re-entry is not permitted at Toyota Center. If you leave the arena, you may not re-enter unless you have an unused ticket.

Restrooms

Restrooms are located throughout Toyota Center for your convenience. All restrooms meet or exceed ADA specifications.

Scoreboard

Toyota Center scoreboard installed by Panasonic features the largest combined viewing area of any indoor center-hung scoreboard currently used in the U.S. The scoreboard contains four large screens-two rectangular-shaped displays that face the east and west seating areas and a pair of square-shaped screens that face the north and south ends of the bowl. The larger boards measure approximately 25' high by 58' wide. The two end panels measure approximately 25' high by 25' wide. All the boards display a full HD signal with 1080 lines of resolution. The board provides a video image that is more than 600 percent larger than the previous scoreboard that had been used since the building's debut in 2003. Additionally, the new board is capable of handling limitless configurations for displaying live action, game statistical information and animations.

Searches

In the interest of guest and staff safety, a search process is required for all events in order to prevent guests from bringing into the arena unauthorized and prohibited items. Guests who refuse to submit to the search process shall be refused entry. Security officers will conduct these searches.

18,300 for basketball and varies for concert.

See Something, Say Something

The nationwide "If You See Something, Say Something™" public awareness campaign - is a simple and effective program to raise public awareness of indicators of terrorism and terrorism-related crime, and to emphasize the importance of reporting suspicious activity to the proper local law enforcement authorities.  To report suspicious activity, see the nearest Usher/Ticket Taker, Security or Police officer.

Smoking Policy

Smoking of any kind, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaporizers, is prohibited inside Toyota Center, including all premium seating, dining, and entertainment areas.  A designated smoking area outside the arena is accessible on the Main Concourse level through doors near Section 117.

Strollers

Stroller use is permitted inside Toyota Center but is restricted to concourse areas. Strollers can be checked in and stored at any Guest Services booth. 

Suites

Sire Spirits Social Club

Toyota Center's Sire Spirits Social Club located on the Lower Suites level features hardwood floors, a sparkling display kitchen, and views of all the action.

For $55, enjoy a spectacular “Chef’s Table” buffet featuring a variety of cuisines from Levy Restaurants with features from the Landry’s Group of restaurants. Open for dining during all home Houston Rockets games.

The Sire Spirits Social Club opens 90 minutes prior to tip-off, and remains open until the beginning of the third quarter.

Television Monitors

There are 140 HD flat screen TVs located throughout the suites, restaurant and club lounges. Additionally, there are HD flat screens throughout the main and upper concourses for our guests to watch as they get refreshments from concessions. Toyota Center has over 450 flat screen TVs to insure our guests don’t miss any exciting Rockets action even if they have to leave their seats.

Translators

Toyota Center may be able to provide American Sign Language translator services to ticketed guests with at least 72 hours' notice. Please contact the Guest Services Department at guestservices@rocketball.com prior to the event you are attending to make advance arrangements.

Uber / Lyft Pickup / Drop-Off Location

Our Uber and Lyft Zone is along Bell St. in front of the Bell St. Entrance for pickup and drop-off.

Virtual Currency

All point of sales at Toyota Center are now cashless. Guests should prepare to use a credit card or contactless payment option when attending an event inside the arena. Please note:

  • Cash can be exchanged for Virtual Currency at the Box Office and it is accessible through the Rockets App. 
  • Virtual Currency can only be used for Concessions. 
  • Virtual Currency is nonrefundable, but it does not expire.

Water Fountains

For your convenience, water fountains are located on all concourse levels throughout the arena.

Wheelchairs
