The BIG3, the premier global 3-on-3 basketball league founded by Ice Cube, is stopping in Houston at the Toyota Center on August 2. The 2^nd will mark the debut of the all-new Houston Rig Hands, the first BIG3 team representing Houston. The team will be led by some of Houston’s most beloved basketball players, such as Coach Calvin Murphy and Rockets alumni Gerald Green and Corey Brewer.

During the team’s first-ever home game, fans can expect Green, Brewer, and Garlon Green to face off against other BIG3 talent such as Dwight Howard, Kemba Walker, and Michael Beasley. All three are no strangers to the championship; they won the 2024 BIG3 title together as part of Bivouac. For the price of one ticket, fans get four fast-paced, physical, 50-minute, 3-on-3 basketball games, entertainment experiences such as 4pt shot contests and BMX bikers, and halftime performances from top musical artists – including maybe Ice Cube himself. Houston’s home game comes near the end of the season, where all eight all-new location-based teams will be playing win-or-go-home basketball, carving out a path to the 2025 Championship.
